First time at Merriam? Here’s what you can expect.

We are an inter-denominational congregation filled with people of many different backgrounds. We’re not perfect, but we strive to live and love just as Jesus does. We encourage you to come as you are!

FAQ:

Q: What time do services start?

A: Sunday School starts at 9:30 a.m.; Worship Service starts at 10:30 a.m. We invite you to come a few minutes early to grab a doughnut and hot coffee from our coffee shop/hospitality area right inside the front doors! Plus, getting here a few minutes early gives you extra time to situate your kids with our secure check-in system, browse the MCC Happenings Wall (filled with the goings-on of the church), or just simply fellowship with others.

Q: How long are services?

A: Sunday School lasts about 45 minutes; our Worship Service typically runs about 1 hour.

Q: Is there someplace for my kid/kids to go?

A: Yes, we have children’s ministries available during both Sunday School and Worship Service. See our Ministries page to read more about the different ages we’ve created spaces for.

Q: What does Worship Service look like?

A: Generally, there will be a few songs of praise & worship; a Biblically-based message; and a time of prayer. Depending on the Sunday, there may be more going on than that, though. You never know what exciting things might happen!

Q: Where are you located?

A: We are about 3 miles east of Fairfield, IL, just off of IL Route 15. Click here for directions.
